The Greater Springfield Farmers' Market, Battlefield Mall, April 21st offers you more great family fun with their April Farm to Feast Feature Chef cooking demonstration. Zio's Italian Kitchen's, Steven Rayl, is the featured chef for April. Chef Steven won 1st Place in the 2011 Harvest Soup Cook-Off fundraiser sponsored by Harvest On Wheels at the Greater Springfield Farmers' Market last Fall. - - Chef Steven will be selecting his fresh foods for his dish, Lemon Chicken Primavera, at the Market around 9:30 and start with his cooking demonstrations at 10:00. He will be preparing this dish several times from 10 till 1:00, showing a variety of ways to prepare the same dish, including a vegetarian version. Chef Steven enjoys a lot of back and forth conversation with people while he is cooking and will be happy to answer all of your cooking questions. He will be sharing his recipe with all at the market, or it can be picked up at Zio’s Italian Kitchen located at 1249 E. Kingsley. -
