Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, MO is working with multiple organizations, individuals, and businesses to complete SIX homes between March 1st and May 20th. This will ensure that those SIX families will be moved into their new homes before June 1! - - Habitat for Humanity has many avenues to help with the SIX BY SIX Challenge for individuals 16+ and we would love to have you join us. This project will only has a 1000 volunteer spots to be filled, spots are filling up quickly, so contact us to save your spot on this amazing set of builds! Our final year of the exciting exhibit, Art and the Animal. Captures the beauty of animals threw a verity of mediums. Such as sculptures, oil, acrylic, and water color paintings. Featuring over 50 different artists.

For the seventh year in a row, Hammons Field in downtown Springfield will be transformed into a unique place of worship for all denominations on Easter Sunday. On Sunday, April 8, the gates at Hammons Field will open at 6:00 a.m. with the Greater Springfield Sunrise Celebration beginning at 6:30 a.m. - - Volunteers from multiple area churches and the staff at Hammons Field have joined together to offer this community-wide interdenominational event that includes music, testimonials, prayer, and worship. This year's featured speaker will be Major Norman Grainger from Springfield, Missouri Corps of the Salvation Army. - - The Greater Springfield Easter Sunrise Celebration is open to anyone that wants to celebrate Easter in a beautiful outdoor setting at sunrise. In case of rain, the service will be held indoors at the Springfield Cardinals training facility at Hammons Field.
